For its production facilities i SLIVEN, Bulgaria, the company is looking for:

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

(with added occupational health and safety function)
(Subordinate to the General Manager of the Company)

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As HR Generalist:

• Adapt and implement the policies of the RETAL Balkan. Initiate all HR processes in accordance with provided RETAL Regional guidelines. Coordinate adaptation and implementation within RETAL Balkan.
• Ensure the presence of the necessary personnel according to the required qualification at the necessary time, following the approval structure of the organization (selection, onboarding, dismissal)
• Coordinate the process of evaluating the performance of workers, providing the result and necessary feedback.
• Prepare and implement the HR budget (annually and monthly), ensure proper HR reporting for the Region.
• Prepare, coordinate, and implement the annual training plan, both with internal and external trainers.
• Ensure a regular dialogue with the employees, guarantee internal communication flow in terms of actual topics for the employees (salaries, rules, bonuses, performance evaluation etc.). In case of the need to cooperate with legal adviser to solve HR, legal or related topics.
• Monitoring and achieving established HR KPIs.
• Keep the Personal data updated, ensure all GDPR procedures are actual and up to date.
• Organize and carry out HR surveys (engagement, feedback, opinion on different topics, etc.), analyze the data and give feedback to Management team regarding improvement.
• Keep track of working hours: collect relevant information about hours worked, ensure compliance of schedules and hours worked with legal requirements, prepare necessary information for external parties or/ and execute payroll to the employees.

As OHS specialist:

• Manage health and safety topics by adapting and implement the policies of the RETAL Group to RETAL Balkan.
• Comply with Bulgaria’s work safety measures and coordinate work with the external service to guarantee the health and safety of RETAL employees.
• Comply with disciplinary procedures, and ethical standards, to perform tasks on time, improve the quality of work using modern technologies.
• Comply with established Quality and Environment procedures.
• Make suggestions to direct management about improvements in the quality of working conditions.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in business management and administration, psychology, or personnel management.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position.
• Understanding and experience working with OHS topics, knowledge of Bulgaria’s work safety measures.
• English and/or Russian language (both written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Excel and other MS office tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking, good organizational and time planning skills.
• Proactive, discreet, independent, positive-minded person.
