The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the company’s products and more complex automated systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, proven experience in a similar role and good communication abilities.
Installation and Start-Up
- Install, set up and commission company products, including standard equipment and complex systems, at customer sites.
- Ensure proper configuration of the equipment and training of the customer’s staff.
Maintenance and Repair
- Perform routine maintenance visits, provide technical support to customers onsite and remotely.
- Support customers with technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty/worn components or parts as needed.
Reporting
- Maintain records of service activities, including work performed and parts used.
- Generate service reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
Customer and Sales Support
- Advise clients on appropriate equipment, participate in clients’ meetings and during negotiation processes.
- Provide guidance on product usage and maintenance.
Experience:
- Technical specialty.
- Proven experience as a service technician or similar role.
- Good communication abilities.
- Good level of English.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and perform tasks in various work environments.
