Our client is a U.S.-based software development company dedicated to innovating the retail sector by empowering businesses with intuitive point-of-sale (POS) solutions. These solutions simplify and streamline store management processes. With over a decade of market presence, their POS product—launched in 2016—serves as a seamless, next-generation replacement for Microsoft® Retail Management System (RMS). Designed for small-to-medium retailers, the product features a touchscreen-friendly and user-friendly interface, enabling quick and easy onboarding for staff. As their client portfolio grows and their customers' needs expand, our client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (.NET & React.js) to join their team for retail software application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in .NET/C#/SQL Server and take ownership of the architecture and development for one or more product areas. Please find more information below:
Senior Full-Stack Engineer (.NET & React.js)
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to develop retail software in product increments
- Own specific product areas, including architecture, development, testability, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and adhere to coding standards and design guidelines.
- Ensure that the technical “know how” within the team is shared and constantly growing.
- Demonstrate the completed product increment to the product owner during the iteration reviews.
- Participate in iteration retrospectives to reflect on the process and continually improve it.
- Perform release and iteration planning, including sizing and estimating.
- Explore new technologies, engage in technical spikes, write knowledge articles, and make technical documentation updates.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft Certification.
- 8+ years of development experience in .NET, C#, and SQL Server (T-SQL), as well as previous experience with React.js.
- Experience with code annotating, unit testing, and test-driven development.
- Еxperience with TFS Backlogs.
- Experience with the following technologies will be considered an advantage:
- .NET Core / .Net WPF / .NET 5.0+
- .NET Maui / ASP.NET Core Blazor
- Azure Cloud development
- Understanding of Agile practices and artifacts.
- Ability to plan work of self & others.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
- Assist with support tickets, as necessary.
- Prior experience developing retail, ecommerce, and/or POS solutions will be considered an advantage.
- Good command of English.
