For one of our clients - a leading innovator in environmentally responsible cargo handling for
ports, terminals, and distribution networks, we are on a lookout for confident and energetic
people for the role - Payment Processing Assistant.
Essential Responsibilities:
*Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate payment application
and timely resolution of issues;
*Generate and assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports;
*Investigate and correct unapplied payments, assisting the Credit and Collections team;
*Keep detailed records of all payment-related documentation for future reference and audit
purposes;
*Apply customer payments within the ERP system;
*Record ACH, wire transfers, and credit card deposits to the appropriate cash accounts;
*Еnsure accurate application of daily receipts and reconcile cash balances to the general ledger.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration;
*No experience required, training provided. Accounts receivable experience is a plus;
*Understanding of general accounting principles and ability to follow SOPs;
*Experience with accounts receivable reconciliation and result analysis;
*Ability to identify issues, analyze, and determine solutions;
*Ability to work independently and collaborate with financial teams.;
*Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP is a plus;
*Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and Google Tools;
*Proficient in written and spoken English.
