As a result of their strategic expansion, our client is now looking to expand its data warehouse unit and is looking for an experienced “SQL/DWH Developer” to join their team, which deals with data warehouse development and database modeling, the collection, analysis, and sorting of information. A must for the role is a very good level of SQL proficiency (T-SQL preferably) and experience with ETL tools (for example, IBM DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator, Azure Data Factory, MS SSIS).

DWH Developer
Responsibilities:
• Implement, optimize, and support the corporate Data Warehouse system.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and database models (relational and dimensional).
• Develop ad-hoc report queries and optimize large databases.
• Prepare functional specifications for data, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Monitor Data Warehouse activities, providing subject matter expertise.
• Support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in relation to Data Warehouse initiatives.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases;
• Experience with ETL tools e.g., IBM DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator, Azure Data Factory, MS SSIS;
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing Data Warehouse solutions;
• Some experience with Reporting Tools e.g., MS SSRS, Synapse Studio;
• Very good analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to proactively research solutions and best practices;
• English language proficiency, German would be an advantage;
