About the Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end release engineering process across various environments, including development, testing, and production. Your work will ensure that our products are effortlessly delivered to target environments using diverse distribution mechanisms and methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code Integration: Design and develop code that seamlessly integrates various applications within our build pipeline
- Solution Engineering: Engineer and release innovative solutions that meet business needs
- Build Maintenance: Maintain and monitor software builds to ensure stability and reliability
- CI/CD Implementation: Design and implement robust Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Global Collaboration: Support globally distributed teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Problem Resolution: Track issues, implement resolutions, and ensure fixes are applied throughout the release process
- Documentation: Create detailed, step-by-step documentation for build and release procedures, contributing to the growth of the company’s knowledge base
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QA team to ensure all releases meet organizational standards
- Coordination: Manage build schedules and coordinate between Development, Database, QA, and Operations teams
- Application Delivery: Ensure that the build/deploy process effectively supports business objectives
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in DevOps or a similar role
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, SVN, GIT
- Time Management: Exceptional time-management skills with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL), programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Angular), Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and Python
