Our client is one of the leading German IT security consultancies, with more than 25 years of experience in helping organizations in the public and private domain with guarding their informational infrastructure and reaching the highest security standards on the market. They're specializing in providing a 360° solution – from implementing security products and services (McAfee/Trellix, Cisco, Check Point, SOPHOS, tenable, BitSight, RSA, Draccon, etc.) matching their client's needs, through analysis and identification of existing threats, ensuring protection and eliminating known forms of cyber-attacks, to developing a strategy for more sustainable and secured IT infrastructure. Their clients range from small firms to large corporations, encompassing numerous industries – banks, assurance companies, energy providers, and leading names in the pharma, automotive, electrical, and chemical industries, notwithstanding the various state administrations they support.

They have already built a small operational center in Bulgaria, aiming to support various teams for their operations in Germany. Now they are continuing their expansion and are looking for an experienced business and service development manager, who could lead the acquisition and service organization for new customers locally. Although the role is focused on the Bulgarian market, trips to Germany, especially in the beginning are essential, as well as the fluency in the English and German language. 


Cyber Security Business Development Manager (with German)


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Participate in the development of effective strategies to acquire new clients and expand our customer base.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to establish the company's market presence and offerings.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver compelling service proposals and presentations.
  • Work closely with remote teams of engineers and consultants to align business development efforts with project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management in the Cyber Security or IT/OT Security industry.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a business-related field, IT / Cyber Security education would be highly advantageous. 
  • Good awareness of endpoint, network, or information security infrastructure and modern solutions.
  • Proficiency with one or more products by Trellix/Skyhigh (McAfee), Sophos, Claroty, Macmon, and/or eXabeam.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to sustain lasting customer contacts.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
