As part of their newly established operations in Bulgaria, they are currently looking for an AEM Developer to join the development of scalable and reusable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions for a leading European telecommunications company. The person on the role will be responsible for designing and implementing AEM components, customizing functionalities, and ensuring seamless integration across web and app environments. This role requires close collaboration with solution architects, business analysts, and development teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality digital experiences. AEM Developer
Responsibilities:
- Build reusable AEM components for web and mobile applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Work closely with solution architects and business analysts to translate design initiatives into effective development strategies.
- Customize and unit test AEM implementations in line with technical specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
- Provide Level 3 support, bug fixes, and enhancements while overseeing deployments with the application support team.
- Maintain low-level design documents, deployment guides, and facilitate knowledge transfer to operations teams.
- Follow standardized coding patterns, create unit test cases, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with AEM 6.X+.
- Strong Java development skills, with expertise in AEM modules, Granite, Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
- Experience implementing AEM templates, components, and dialogs.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, and React (preferred).
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Sling Models, and Java Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock).
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of Touch UI Workflows is a plus.
- Adobe AEM Certification is highly desirable.
- English language fluency.
